The Toronto Tango Experience (TTX)

Where are the milongas held

All the milongas (and meals) for the TTX are in the beautiful main ballroom of the SPK Polish Hall in the heart of the University of Toronto district. It is fully air-conditioned and has a wonderful wooden floor for excellent dancing. It can accommodate over 300 people and is fully licensed if you would like to have a glass of wine at the milongas or during the meals.

What are the dates for the Toronto Tango Experience

The TTX starts with the free (yes FREE, as in no cost, gratis) pre-festival milonga on Wednesday August 27, 2014 and finishes on Sunday August 31, 2014 at 5am. Have you always wanted to visit Toronto, then come earlier or stay later and explore the city.

What's so great about Toronto

Where do I sleep

There are many local B&Bs in the area. Try Airbnb which has many listings. We have also made arrangements at a local yoga studio (within a 5 minute walk) to let attendees sleep overnight at their premises for $10 per night. Bring a sleeping mat and sleeping bag or rent a sleeping mat, pillow and blanket for an extra $5 per night. Soap, shampoo and other personal toiletries will be available for purchase at cost price, plus there is a 24 hour 7-Eleven across the street.

Is there access to the Internet

There is a Wi-Fi public hotspot at the SPK Polish Hall, however you need a Boingo account ( to use it. The current cost for a Boingo account is $10 per month for unlimited usage and there is no contract.
